March 5, 2008Heres a story about Children and how parents let them be in control.
I walk into Fred Meyer the other day. i passed by a parent and his/her son and he decided to throw a tantrum and make a giant scene in the store. the parent decides to give in to the child and get him his candy or something and does nothing to tell the child that was wrong. It drove me insane. so i ask... why might a parent might want to be more friend like to their child than a parent? i am open to all ideas. to tell what i believe is that the child should be punished in some way, and the no T.v for a day thing just proves that the kid has total control. when this happens the d then becomes a reckless teenager. Children who misbehave badly and i mean really badly should be given a smack or a spankin, but dont over do it.
